Dear Brothers & Sisters in Christ,
We thank our Lord upon every remembrance of you and "above all things that you may prosper and be in health, even as your soul prospers. We do greatly rejoice when the brethren come and testify of the truth that is in you all,
even as you walk in the Truth" (III John 1:2-3).
Please, do note that our Hispanic families are loving believers in the Lord
and that we in no way support or stand with those Hispanics that are
demonstrating and causing more divisions in our country - we just humbly
pray as Ruth prayed: "Entreat me not to leave you, or to return from
following you: for wherever you go, I will go; and where you live, I will
live; your people shall be my people, and your God my God." Ruth 1:16.
The Wilderness Hispanic Church is on its second leg of our building
project - we have contracted Mr. Jack Burleson of Spruce Pine to build our
metal building that eventually will be our church. We are praying & hoping
that we can start having services in our new building by August of this
year. The third and last part of our building program will be the sheetrock
work for the walls and the ceiling and then the bathrooms, kitchen, and
Sunday school rooms. It would be such a blessing to see some of our sister
churches take on one of these smaller projects as part of their mission
work.
Please, do continue to pray and "Lift up your eyes, and look on the fields;
for they are white already to harvest."
In His service, because of His great love,
Rev. Charles Alonso
